About the Instructor

Dr Alison Chapman is an Associate Professor in the Department of English. She is a specialist in Victorian Poetry and has published widely in the topic, for example the collections A Companion to Victorian Poetry and Victorian Women’s Poetry, the monographs The Afterlife of Christina Rossetti and A Rossetti Family Chronology, as well as articles on topics ranging from Robert Browning’s homesickness to Mary E. Coleridge’s use of lyric.
